Legal Alternatives
SERVICES
Our mediators use their education, training and experience to facilitate discussions that result in agreements that meet both parties’ needs. In addition to the financial benefits, mediation is collaborative leading to far less contentious outcomes as well as a positive model for communication should new issues need to be resolved at a later date.
Parenting Coordination is a child- and family-focused form of alternative dispute resolution especially used in high-conflict families. Parents have likely been referred and/or court ordered to engage in this process because the ongoing conflict in their family has been detrimental to their child, and our traditional judicial system has not been able to help.
Co-resolution is an innovative alternative dispute resolution process that combines the resolution focus of mediation with direct party assistance commonly seen in advocacy roles such as attorneys in litigation. Unlike mediation, in co-resolution, each party is provided with professional negotiation assistants/conflict coaches (“co-resolvers”) that are trained in mediation as well as other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
